A Different Spin

2019, Brazil. São Paulo's bicycle plan is delayed. While in the downtown the bicycle becomes synonymous of lifestyle, in the suburbs the number of deaths of cyclists who circulate without cycle paths or lanes grows. A Different Spin accompanies activists who fight for active mobility to be for everyone.

Guilherme Valiengo is a documentary producer and director. In 2013 he released his first feature documentary as a director, Gray City, a film about the São Paulo graffiti scene and the "Clean City" law in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. In 2016 he directed the documentary series Dia de Clássico (Derby Day), a project about the greatest soccer classics in the world, for Mais Globosat Channel. He worked as assistant director on the series Transamazônica-Uma Estrada para o Passado, for HBO channel, directed by Jorge Bodanzky. In 2017 he directed the series Destinations, content on board for the airline TAP.
